Explain your views clearly, but you must accept that not everyone will share your view. Your son must find the answers himself in time.
As far as anyone "ruining" anyone else, I would suggest you stop looking for something or someone to blame. You are understandably upset that your son doesn't necessarily buy your world view. Sometimes people embrace new ideas just because they are new. (Look at late-night $19.95 gadget commercials for a good example of this.)
Colleges are, by nature, a place for exploration of new grounds in thoughts and concepts. Some will be embraced, others toyed with, some rejected outright. The worst thing you can teach your son right now is to reject anything that doesn't fit in with your perception of which way is right. Most of the time, it will end up blowing up in your face.
Calm down, don't panic, and allow your son to grow. He is not made from the same mold as you, and you need to accept that. Keeping a cool head is the best thing you can do for him.

He'll grow up someday and be able to rid that brainwashing when he sees how those theories destroy the country. It's a shame that we allow the schools to do this, but when you have liberals teaching and running the schools that's what you get.. Time to strip the schools and begin over.. Make those running nose kids that come out of college and call themselves teachers find real jobs where it's not an extention to their party days in college.
ARTFAN.. the problem is just that.. The schools haven't let him make up his own mind, they teach liberal ideas and grades him on them... If you don't follow their whacko line of thinking you fail. Think about it.. Rid the schools of religion, but replace it with teaching about gay marriage?? does that make any sense to anyone? Not saying religion should be taught in schools BUT sure as hell Gay Marriage shouldn't be taught.
Sorry if i offended any of you liberal nay sayers, but the proof is in the package.. The education system has dropped drastically since the liberals took over the schools systems and The US Education System is now one of the lowest in the world, where we used to be at the very top.
Cool Guy... yes you are right again and thats the problem again.. everyone has an opinion BUT when schools start teaching those opinions rather the facts I see a huge problem.. And that is EXACTLY what is being done.

A true liberal education takes a person anywhere; it does not hold them into one presentation of education. Some are taught a "true" education before ever reaching the doors of a College or University.
A true liberal education does not cause persons to be subject to judgement or affiliation simply to have access to the aspects of education that would permit a person to complete their education, etc.
Liberal politics, is a personal choice. The ability to see past the tip of one's own nose is learned.
College professors usually do not set out to teach one aspect or view; how are you blaming the college for this?

Sounds more like his professors have opened his eyes and mind, yes there certainly is allot of danger when people move away from getting all there ideas from Rush & Hannabe. What you should do is get him in the Military immediatly and get him sent off to Iraq so he can fight for Bush & Iraq freedom. Now that would really straighten him out pron-to.

He is your son. You need to respect his beliefs and his choices. If he has been 'brainwashed,' then that's his problem, not yours.
Grow up.

Professors shove liberalism down their students throats. And these kids see the professors as non-biased educators, which is a completely false. Convince your son to be objectionable and give him some material to read. Prfessors are hardly intelligent. They simple pass information that was passed to them.
If he continues to remain liberal, you'll just have to wait until he graduates and gets that first paycheck.

Why do you say they have ruined him. Have you ever open your mind and put yourself in someone else's shoes? Listen to him. COMPROMISE! Remember that old saying, "Opinions are like @$$holes ....everyone has one." Good Luck.

Simple, really.
1. Make him pay his own way at college.
2. Ask him to explain each component of his first paycheck, especially the deductions and withholdings (sic).
