I can't understand why people take the trouble to submit answers that are clearly wrong.It's not hard to look these things up.
The first hit by the Who was I Can't Explain, followed by Anyway Anywhere Anyhow. My Generation was after these 2.

"My Generation" if I'm not mistaken. And it's fricken fantastic if it hasn't been overplayed for you. Really much better than their later hits in my opinion.
