I know that it is dripping off of the oil pan and I'm going through a quart of oil about every 10 days. There is no leak in the oil pan so it must be coming from above it. So possible problems and solutions would be helpful.

First Steam Clean the Engine "Top & Bottom" after that run the Engine until you Start to Notice the Leak, turn it off. It's going to be one of the fallowing; Valve Cover Gasket, Head Gasket, Oil Filter Housing and/or Sending Unit, Oil Pan Gasket, Gasket on Oil Pan Plug.

THE BEST WAY TO CHECK FOR AN OIL LEAK THAT YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIND IS TO PUT A PIECE OF CARDBOARD UNDER YOUR CAR WHEN YOU PARK IT..THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TELL WHAT SIDE OF THE ENGINE IT IS COMING FROM.. ..CHECK THE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT TO SEE IF IT IS LEAKING, CHECK BEHIND THE CRANK PULLEY-MIGHT BE CRANK SEAL, OR VALVE COVER GASKET..THEN AGAIN, IF YOUR CAR SMOKES WHEN YOU CRANK IT UP..IT MIGHT BE THE VALVE STEM SEALS, OR IF IT SMOKES ALL THE TIME..WORN OUT RINGS..BUT DRIPPING OFF THE OIL PAN..I NEED TO KNOW WHICK END AND WHAT ENGINE SIZE.

It could be a number of things,it could be the valve covers or the oil sending unit or the rear main seal or the oil filter or pad,or the filter itself.
Take to a reliable mechanic to have it checked out, because the fix is always cheaper than a engine.

Most likely valve cover gasket.

It could be leaking from the motor which is not good. However the car is 13yrs old so it may be time to consider car shopping.
