Depends what country you're in.
In the UK, no-one will give a fuk. Unless of course your question contains a typo and the bruise you gave is on the little boys pecker. If so, then expect to be burnt alive as a peeeedo and have the whole country read about you in the Daily Mail.

Robbing a phone from someone is one thing,but bruizing him in the process is a different kettle of fish,especially a boy that isn't yet a man.
It's hard to say how long you'd get but I hope you've learned from all this and never do it again!

That is a question you should be asking a lawyer. You need to say where you are and how young you are and how badly the other kid was hurt and how long your criminal record is. Of course our guesses don't really count but I will guess an amazingly short time unless the judge really is in a bad mood. In that case you might be in for aggravated assault as well as theft.

It would depend on your age at the time . Under 7yrs get turned over to your parents and DAD takes you to the woodshed . Over 11 you get to go to court and maybe to jail (Juvenile Detention) . over 16 , to court and maybe hard time in a REAL jail . Bruising constitutes "ASSAULT" and that is serious !
