Im 35 weeks pregnant and sometimes i swear i can hear this slight popping sound coming from my belly?
What could it be? Has anyone else had this happen to them?
I just wanted to describe the sound for yal just so you know what im talking about...
It kind of sounds like when you crack a nuckle but not as loud... and its coming from my belly! Or somewhere close enough around there... and its not only when im moving.... i can just be lying there still and it still happens.

Thank you all so much for answering my question! Earlier when i asked the same thing all i got was a few people who were just being smart @$$3$. Im not too worried about it, i was just wondering what the heck it was lol. i dont think its anything serious though, its not like im experiencing pain along with it or anything. Again... thank you all.

Could be nothing more serious than bubbles in the fluid round the little one, or the body "adjusting" around them
if you are concerned, talk to your doctor, let them check you over

It sounds like gas. At this point in your pregnancy the uterus has filled your entire abdomen and pushed every organ out of the way. Your intestines are squashed up under your ribcage on both sides of the uterus, and it makes it hard for your digestive system to work efficiently.
It's perfectly normal. Just eat healthy and get lots of fiber.
Good Luck!

sounds strange and i don't really believe it but i had a similar problem and my mom told me it was tendons popping but umm i'm not sure you have very many tendons around your uterus so it sounded like she made it up to me good luck though if it's not painful i would mention it to my doctor but wouldn't stress over it too much

i grow to be admitted to the well-being middle 3 days till now my son grow to be born with the aid of toxemia and occasional platlets and the 1st night i grow to be there they have been purely monitoring me yet i grow to be wakeful ALL night with back exertions, I didnt sense like i grow to be contracting or something, i presumed it grow to be purely the situation of the toddler and the very fact i grow to be slumbering on a delivery mattress. yet regardless of each and every thing night of back exertions I went from a 2 cm to a 4 cm... so via what you assert it fairly is my guess... It sounds rather comparable, esp with the aid of fact I didnt word contractions having to do with the discomfort in any respect and not one of the nurses in the time of the entire night ever even suggested back exertions, I didnt even understand till 2 days later whilst he grow to be born that my back grow to be finished hurting ultimately!

My baby had hiccups for ages before she was born. Listen next time it happens and see if you think it could be that! :)

i had the same thing happen to me. it is fluid moving in your uterus. when you 'crack' your knuckles, its fluid passing through, when your baby moves it will occassionally do the same thing. its normal.

This sounds really familiar to me. It seems like I was told of this within the past year. Can't remember what it was though.
