I agree with bigdaddy. It's hard to choose between your wife and your own mother. I agree that it's two different types of love.

You should ask - If your mom and your wife were both drowning in the ocean...which one would you save first? Given that they're both the same distance away and they both don't know how to swim.

Pragmatically. I would have to answer. I love my wife mor ethan my mother.

I can and do live without my mother. Losing her would hurt, but it would not change my life significantly.

Losing my wife would devastate me. Yes, I know I could survive without her. But it would take me a long time to even want to.

To answer this question, just flip it upside down:

To married Girls: Who do you love more, your husband or your father?

Same question, really. Two different kinds of love and both kinds of love can be equal in size but very different!

ooooh I cant wait to see the answer to this one.
Sometimes feels like my husband loves his mother more than me. We had this conversation yesterday. He chose what she wanted over what I wanted and I asked who was more important. He said she did give birth to him. I said he didnt choose her to and he chose me to be his wife....hmmmm....

I thought you were going to ask, my wife or my child...

In any case, I bet you have some intention behind your question that has nothing to do with us.
