How many Americans believe in existence of Al-Qaeda?

I am interested whether some randomized studies were performed, and in their results, if such exist; not in personal views.

I believe in it. I also worked through the attack on American on Sept. 11, 2001. Will never forget. Will never forgive.

I'm not aware of any studies, random or otherwise, to determine what percentage of Americans believe that Al-Qaeda exists and that Al-Qaeda was solely responsible for the 9/11 attacks on America in 2001.

There are those who actually believe that the 9/11 attacks were actually carried out by the Bush administration and served as the pre-text for the US to invade Afghanistan in search of Bin-Laden and as the pretext for invading Iraq. Americans who believe this are a distinct minority, and they are literally insane for fanatically positing such an absurd and wholly unsupported conspiracy theory. They all have serious mental health issues quite frankly.

If there are any politicians who are within this subset of Americans, they are equally deranged and unfit to serve this country in any capacity whatsoever. Personally, I am unaware of any current or former elected official who believes anything other than the known facts, which are that Al-Qaeda attacked targets on American soil once in 1993 and again in 2001.
