When I am thinking well I like people just the way they are and I have nothing but love for everyone. I have a gift of discernment which can be used for good or bad. On the positive side is when I pray for the person and hope they overcome their difficulties. When you see things in people that are not good most the time there is nothing you can do to change them they have to decide they want to change them selves. Pointing it out to them will only make them want to get away from you. It might even make them get worse. I want to focus on the strengths of others and be a positive influence for them and accept them for who they are. No one is perfect and we need to be loved and accepted just as we are.

I accept people just the way they are because I would never want anyone to try and change me so I give others that same consideration. Trying to change someone only means that you really don't "genuinely" like that person.

Hi, Most of the time i do like people the way they are. Why try and change them, most people are already set in their ways and will not change. If for some reason i don't like a person i try and stay away from them.

Most people I like just the way they are but some need a reality check! I know I can't change them so I wouldn't even try! ♥

No I like people just the way they are, if you try and change someone then you obviously don't want to see them as they are and don't want the true them.

i wonder this all the time. although, not about trying to change a particular person or anything. just in general. is it possible for a person to change? honestly, i'm not sure. there was a point in my life where i thought i changed. but, that came crashing down to reality. i'm still the same person. i have a bunch of questions and maybe there isn't any answers.

I accept them as they are if they will accept me. I know I'm nowhere near perfect and I don't expect anyone else to be either. Everyone has their flaws, that's part of what makes them the unique person that they are. I don't see any reason to try and change that. The only exception would be trying to stop destructive behaviour (drug use, self-mutilation, excessive drinking, etc.).

I wish I could say that I don't want to change them, but honestly as I grow I change and certain qualities I liked in that person at that stage in my life, I no longer care for and since I've known them and grown to love them, I would want them to change. When I say change, I really mean grow up and mature also.
There is one person that I totally fell in love with b/c he was funny, carefree, lots of fun, drinking buddy, adventurous, etc...And now that I married him, I'd like for him to be more responsible, mature, take less risks, Stop drinking to excess where he hurts me and himself....basically prepare for fatherhood. So if that means changing him, then yes by all means I'd love to change him.
