Will resetting my SMC router mess up my wireless internet? Help!?

Im trying to get the password for my wireless internet so i can go onto my ipod Touch's internet. and ive been told to reset my router... Will that mess up my wireless internet in the rest of my house? Help!

It won't hurt anything, but it will make all of the current settings not work.

If you have wireless connections connected, when you reset the router, all of the settings in the connected computers will become incorrect, and they will lose their connections. You will have set each wireless device with the new settings. (WEP or WPA, SSID etc.) Once you do that everything will work.
