I used to be able to do everything up to a Front Handspring. (Round-off, front walkover, etc.) I could do splits and jumps too. Any tips to help me get back all the tricks I used to know? I can still do most of them, but I lost my back walkover and my side split. Any tips would be great!!! I also didn't take lessons, I taught myself.

wow. Im a cheerleader and I tumble a lot. It helps if you have a spring floor to practice on. if you do, thats great. if not, try to start off in the grass. as far as stretching goes, that will come easy with practice. just do splits while watching TV to try and keep your mind off of the pain. For tumbling. try to get a friend (a strong friend) to spot you at first. with practice on correct technique, form, and strength, tumbling will come to you in no time. For some extra help on trying to get your tumbling back quickly, work out a little to regain your strength. Crunches, sit-ups, leg lifts, and shoulder strength exercises are all going to help.

Start taking lessons. Tthat way you will make sure you are using the best technique to do those skills. You can try some drills in the meantime:
