K, so I have twins and on their birthday I got them both their own cake. I had one of the sims take the first baby to the cake and he turned into a toddler. WHen I had him take the second baby to the second cake, all the sims celebrated but the baby never turned into a toddler. What's wrong? Why won't he grow up?

Don't panic. This happens to me all the time. Give them a day or so. The baby should grow to toddler by then. USUALLY, the baby will grow to toddler by around 6am the following morning. In the mean time, your sims will just keep trying to "help with birthday" until they actually succeed in getting the baby to grow up.
It's annoying, I know, but trust me, it happens all the time to me. Don't panic. And if all else fails, if you haven't saved yet, you can always exit the game then go back to the lot and start over (which could really suck depending on how long it's been since you saved last).

you might just have to wait until the other one grows up into a teenager, and hope the baby does the same.
or you could try doing the cake thing again?

if you haven't saved it try again until it does grow up
If you have saved it.........sorry I'm not sure
Before any major Sim events save it a few Sim hours ahead so that if it doesn't go the way you want it you can go back to the neighbour hood and try again

If you used the cheat code in order to have twins, thats most likely your problem. The best you can do is wait and see what happens, throw another birthday or something. goodluck ;)

it means you dont know how to play the game or you need a speacil code or you need help from some one else
