Canada is a terrific place, clean, friendly and very hi tec.
I had a great time there and I'm sure you will as well.
It is Britain that is a dirty poor nation, corrupt government and drug dealers running the streets.

Ha, ha!----your question cracked me up!
I think you might be thinking of the United States! ;)
Seriously, as a Michigan native, I visit Canada frequently. You obviously aren't aware that Canada has one of the highest standards of living in the world; they have a law-abiding population (a grand total of TWO policeman were "needed" for crowd control at the Toronto World Series); no slums; almost no gun-related crime; wonderful public transportation; I could go on and on.
Now I'm sitting here wonderig why the hell I don't live there!

Where do you get your information from????? I'm a US citizen who has traveled to Canada MANY MANY times having relatives and friends in Quebec, Montreal and Vancouver.....Canada is a beautiful country---for the most part, the people are outgoing and friendly---in the EAST, they speak mainly French and are a BIT standoffish but the countryside is beautiful and rich in culture..... in the mid and western parts of Canada, English is mainly spoken and I have found the country to be MUCH MORE CLEAN then any city in the USA....you don't find garbage all over the roads like you do in our country in places.. also, the landscape in the mid and western parts of Canada is BREATHTAKING with the mountains, lakes and rivers weaving in and around the country....there ARE poor sections in Canada, but you would NEVER know it....there are no slums like there are in the cities in the USA.... no really rundown areas..... Canadians are PROUD of their country and have every right to be proud... if it wasn't for the rather COLD weather they get in the winter, I would NEVER hesitate to live in ANY part of Canada... although my favorite part is the SUNSHINE COAST on the western coast of Canada in British Columbia....

Canada is one of the G8, one of the eight richest and advanced countries on earth. There may well be SOME drug dealers, but I doubt very much they own the streets. Canada is an avanced, rich, industrialised, liberal democracy - just like the US (well ok maybe not the liberal).

You are listening again to your teachers opinions?? Schools only teach their liberal opinions with no facts to back them up.. Schools are one the the largest campaign forums for our future voters and the liberals have worked hard to brainwash these children while they are still young and easily steered as they are easy prey to their silly opinions.

It's time to go back to how the schools used to be and teach our children math, history, english, reading, writing, and the respect for authority.. Not about gay marriages, anti religion, anti war, high taxes, disrespect for law enforcement, disrespect for parents and anyone in authority, and BIG Government where the federal government controls your every step... The schools systems today are nothing but a liberal political forum.
