He had no middle name. This was common in the 18th and 19th centuries. For a long time middle names were considered pretentious, now they're the norm. John Quincy Adams may have been the first US president to have a middle name.

Most Conservatives have done no research on Barack Obama. This means they think he is a Muslim, or Arab, or something else, just based on his unique name. When conservatives think Arab's or Muslims, they think of horrible or Psychopathic people wanting to bring death to America. They then, tie in Muslim or Arab with the middle eastern countries, which happens to include Iraq. Iraq's former and Deceased leader, which you probably know, Saddam Hussein was infamous for being a "bad guy", if you will. Conservatives think that since a profligate's name included "Hussein", a seemingly harmless man's "Hussein" name is a sign that he is a profligate too. Then they try to make people believe that he is a Muslim Radical, or an Evil doer. Just a bunch of terrible, narrow minded theories just because of of a person's name and a lack of research.

I looked at several sites and didn't find him listed with a middle name. I don't know when it became customary to have a middle name, but it was probably in the late nineteenth century (1800s.)
The University of Virginia has a fairly complete biography, and no middle name. http://millercenter.virginia.edu/
academic/americanpresident/jackson. (Don't include the ellipses (...) if they show up in this address.)

Like five of his six predecessors and quite a few of his successors, he didn't have one. Middle names were just coming into fashion among Americans of British descent at that time, although they had been used by those of German descent for some time.
