AMD phenom supports Win XP?
Does it only supports Vista?

yes it will work for xp

and that guy that said that "AMD's cheap excuse" is an intel fan boy because this is a very good cpu


you don't HAVE to have an AM2+ to run K10 CPUs most AM2 will do the trick after a bios update

IIRC i saw AM2+ boards that won't work with windows 98/ME and earlier but i am thinking that won't be a huge problem :P
Also i used to operate lots of Intel PCs but i recognise AMD as having excellent price/performance ratio and looking at the AMD chips + motherboard combos (there features/upgrade paths) i am seriously considering my next rig to be an AMD one! I am not planning to replace Houston for NASA missions from my PC but $$ is of concern to me :P

the phenom is just ams cheap excuse for a quad core chip. yes, you will be able to run xp just fine.
