Sometimes we get really scared, specially if it's our first pregnancy.
This is my third and I'm still paranoid about any ackes and pains I feel. Remember that is never a "stupid" though to head to the hospital.....just to make sure that everything is ok. But also remember that....Real Labor Pains....do not subside, they continue, and you can ussually time them to be 5 minutes apart and so on. They always get....worse. Meaning more painful, so you're extra uncomfortable.
I'm 7 months now, and I still get really strange cramps. Sometimes is something I ate, sometimes is the baby kicking, and sometimes they are Braxton Hicks contractions....you do know you could be having those right now right?.
What to Expect When You're Expecting.....Is still a good book to have, when you have a question, it really puts you at ease.
And again....it's ok to be scared and to wonder all the time. Just don't make it a habit, and try to familiarize yourself with simptoms by reading, so that you can enjoy your pregnancy more. And if you do want to just head to that hospital....just to make sure....that's ok too. They will just check you..monitor you for a while, and say..."You're ok hun, it was just normal ackes"....and send you home...
No harm in that..:-).
Good Luck,
Lucy

It sounds like a combination or your baby moving and Braxton hicks. If the cramping is really bad, i would call your doctor but if it feels like your stomach is just tightening, this is Braxton hicks. Often times, the baby moving can cause the uterus to contract. I would call your doctor just to be sure things are going ok, but I would expect that this ok. If you feel cramping, try to sit down with your feet up for a few minutes. Standing can cause cramping.

Probably now, I'll tell you why.
Babies tend to calm down and not move much before delivery. A moving baby is always a good sign.
My guess is that you feel cramps because of the extra weight on your body. Please see your doctor with your concerns. If nothing else he will put you at ease so that you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

Cramping is normal. I dont know what you mean about twitching as its not a sign of labor, and sounds more like muscle or ligament fatigue from the weight of the uterus- or even possibly just the movement of the baby.
You sound normal to me.

At that stage the fetus surviving birth would be pretty much impossible, To to the A&E or ER I'm not sure what you call it where your from, just to be safe... or see what other people have to say about it first, see if anyone has experianced it.

Call your doctor immediately! No one can tell you what's happening with your pregnancy here. Stop reading! Go call! It's probably nothing but it's better to be safe than sorry. Go!

No...probably not, thats just the baby getting bigger and more cramped inside of you. What exactly is your diet? Just discuss it with your OB-Gyn.

It's not entirely impossible, but highly improbable. Remember, you have a baby in you. It could just be moving around and you're not used to it.
