Disagree. I've been pregnant twice... though I had a miscarriage the first time. Both times, I found out I was pregnant a few days before my missed period.
The first time, I kept having dreams about being pregnant. And then my husband (was my bf then) dreamt I was pregnant. A few days later, I started getting REALLY bitchy. I'm a really easy going, relaxed person... and out of no where, I became a stubborn brat who kept trying to push everyone's buttons. It was so uncharacteristic of me. I had nausea one day when I woke up, but it had passed quickly. So I decided to take a pregnancy test b/c it just felt like I might be. Sure enough, I was. I lost the baby at 9 weeks though.
The second time I got pregnant, my husband and I were more hyper sensitive as we'd been trying to conceive. We got in this petty argument and I realized that I was being way more emotional and stubborn than usual about something that was trivial. I thought, "Man, if I wasn't pregnant... wouldn't this be so insignificant." And like that, a lightbulb went off in my head to take a test. I did... and it was positive. I now have a beautiful 2 1/2 month old daughter, Kelsey.
So yeah... disagree. Mine were mostly hunches with myself, but they were obviously right! I've never thought I was pregnant other than those 2 times, so it isn't like I thought it all the time and just happened to be right twice. I definitely felt different than with my period. Very shortly after each pregnancy test, I start experiencing more symptoms as I was crossing into the 4-6 week period.

100% agree!!!
Women just trick themselves into thinking that what they feel are pregnancy symptoms. Even if you do wind up pregnant, what you were feeling earlier on, had nothing to do with pregnancy. It was normal reactions to your hormone fluctuations in your cycle. Thinks of the millions of times women thought they had symptoms and weren't pregnant. Its only when you find out for sure that you are pregnant, women say "oh I started having symptoms very early". Not really. Like I said normal reactions to hormones that people can then claim were pregnancy related.
Every month after I ovulate, my breasts get sore and full. Many months I experience slight nausea and feel like I'm getting sick. This is my body's reaction to the progesterone that is release after ovulation. I have been pregnant twice and didn't know until after I took a HPT. Otherwise, I felt all the symptoms I usually do. My real pregnancy symptoms hit when I was around 6 weeks pregnant and were strong.
The egg would be fertilized on the day you ovulated (the day of conception). It takes the fertilized egg around a week and up to 10 days to implant into the uterus. Once the egg is implanted then your body starts releasing pregnancy hormones HCG. Prior to implantation you are not pregnant. Prior to implantation your body does not even know that you conceived. It takes a while for the HCG to build in your system. Your body's reaction to HCG is what causes pregnancy symptoms. So real pregnancy symptoms don't start until you are 4 weeks pregnant or for most people not until they are 6 weeks pregnant.

The hormones that cause both PMS and early pregnancy symptoms are delt with the same way in the body. They do feel exactly the same.
In some cases you can be one of the 4 out of 10 women who can test early using the first response HTP, or by blood work.

Yes, you can tell. You take a pregnancy test. Otherwise, no. I had what I thought was my period for 3 months, right on time. By the time I had a test, I was 4 months pregnant.

disagree..everyones bodies are different and you know your body..I felt pregnancy symptoms with my first two weeks before my missed period, tested five days before and got a +. I'm going through the same thing right now and the two week wait is the worst. pregnancy symptoms for me are that..because I dont get any other symptoms before my period besides bad cramping the day before
