Why does Rudy get a free pass on all his mistakes on 9/11 and all the lives those mistakes cost us?

The fire fighters haven't forgiven him for the faulty radios and lack of organization... The politicians haven't forgiven him for putting his "emergency bunker" in WTC7 or for wandering the streets aimlessly with camera crew in tow... and the citizens of New York haven't forgiven him for using their dead brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, and children as a platform to try to hide his failures by making them look like successes or stopping the search for bodies once the armored trucks full of gold were done rolling out...

So why does the rest of the country think he's so great when the people he was responsible to protect and govern hate his guts with such passion?

I knew what Rudy was up to when he was roaming the streets on 911! He knew it was a way to get national recognition............so it didn't surprise me he jumped in the race! He is nothing more then a cheap opportunist!

BTW----Like you I am starting to think the best thing for this country is Ron Paul!Even though I don't agree with him on all issues facing this nation............but I do believe he would put the countrys best interests first!

As New Yorker, I say he handed himself well, were there glitches, of course put the ultimate finger should be pointed at the CIA and Bush administration, as if they listen to the red flags in the first place New York would of never be placed in such a divesting disaster. At the time, as mayor I think he did his best to get answers, results and comfort the country.

Guiliani is using 9-11 to run for president. It is a shameless and donwnright gutless display of unaptriotic and amoral right wing oppourtunism.

That said, those who know his policies well should be heard, helping elect a Democrat to clean up Bush43's mess.

because people dont know that side of the story. the media is in charge of letting us know whats going on, and if it doesnt fit into their "rudy cleaned up after 9/11" propoganda, u know thats most people wont know about it. truthfully: i dont know anything about what you are talking about, but it sounds despicable. im not voting for him anyway.

He gets a pass because of all the right-wing spin. You and I both know he was guilty of negligence in placing his command center in the WTC, but we actually pay attention. T
