Congress is no longer effective. All we do is complain and elected the same officials in office.

Until we make Congress realize they WORK for us, they will continue to approve a pay raise for their self at same time of shorten their workweek. It took congress 10 years to raise minimum wage. I guess in 2017 we will finally get that Immigration reform.

I wasn't aware that congress had anything to do with the NFL's decision to broadcast the game on both stations.

I think they should have their attention elsewhere, but if there constituents were seeking government intervention, then perhaps the fault lies there.

That link is silly. If the league isn't engaged in any anti-competetive activities, then why are they worried about losing their anti-trust exemption?

It gives no examples, it just says "overt threats". Any other source that explains what they actually "did"?
