the question is are we aware of the need of my neighbor? how much I give of me to someone that needs me? will I'll be in need of affection or friendship someday soon? don't forget with the rule that you measured with, you'll be measured!!!!!! now, are you a friend indeed?//////////of course you can always help others to become independent and teach them how to manage their time while you do the same with yours.....no need to cut them off your life /unless you won't agree with their ways specially if they are evil.good luck.

I married one of those people. He gets jealous when I am on the phone with my mom or sister, he wants me to come right home from work and not chat with my co-workers because he gets lonely. He will not let me have a computer at home because he knows I would spend a lot of time on it and not sitting silently next to him, he doesn't want to talk to me, he just wants me "there" that is why I can't get to my e-mails that much, I can not even stay after work to use their computers, he will call my cell phone yelling at me to come home because I am not being fair to him. Heed my cautionary tale and be wary, before it is too late.

Yes, I do not get a long with people who are too needy. I may like someone right off the bat but when they become clingy I usually distance myself. I have tried talking to them but they get their feelings hurt. It is not their fault just they way they are wired. I'm more of an introvert.

I'm wary of the person ahead of me in line, taking to much of the cashier's time.

I agree with most here. Someone could just be lonely, but could also be unstable. I'm very cautious with anyone who wants to monopolize my time, at work, or socially.

I like talking to people. If you're not free just tell her or him.
Maybe she or he is lonely and likes your company. Or maybe they have a crush on you!

Yes! It would tell me that person is either possessive and jealous or that they're looking for a rescuer.

Absolutely, because that person is likely to want you to demand as much of his/her time as well.
