No, that's a really good question actually. I only do if I find the question interesting, funny, or something REALLY star-worthy to me. For example, this question DOES deserve one, whether I get the best answer or not...However, to me.. I answer all the questions that are interesting to me in general...but the one's I star are the ones (in my opinion) that are really interesting and star-worthy. I don't expect to have a best answer, because I know that other people also have an equal chance just as I do.

NOPE!!!! I star every question I answer. I think that if a question is interesting enough to answer than it deserves a star. The stars don't cost us anything and can make someones day!!
Just my personal opinion of course.
