I would keep the Money and by a little Finka in Spain.

If it was £250,000 in bank notes I would take it to the nearest Police station. If it was £250,000 in pound coins I would phone the Police and ask them to bring a crane and come and collect it.

If it was £250,000 I would take it to the police,otherwise I wouldn,t sleep at night,on the other hand if it was 250,000 drawing pins I would keep them as I can never find one when I want one!

Keep it but not spend any of it for a long time just in case anyone comes sniffing round.
Just for a laugh I'd put an advert in the found section of the paper though just to see what happens, obviously with a made up name and address
The Rozzers would be the last place I'd take it

Ok, I know taking it to the police would be the "right" thing to do, but I would keep it. I would give some to my family and I would spread the rest around the US and several other countries in many different bank accounts. I just know I could not bring myself to give it up.

I would definatety take it to the police department.
Why? Because I have a conscience, super ego, and soul, that's why!
I believe what goes around comes around.
If I was in that terrible position of loosing money, someone finding it, I would want that person to have the decency to give it back to me, especially if he/she knows it's mine, I'm desperately looking for it and need it.
If the person was poor and had children to take care who are very excited about having something good in their lives so that they could afford good food, good durable, decent clothes, nice toys to play have, etc. then I would just let them have it.
If it's a suitcase full of a large amount of money like you said, I would ask that needy family to please give it back to me, and then open up a bank account of say, $25,000 dollars for the needy family to live well.

I think I'd be too scared to keep it, I would have to take it to the police and hope that no one claimed it after a few months.

Give it to the police. I figure that much money just lying around is kind of strange...I wouldn't want to accidently get myself into something bad. Plus I've got enough money to live on so I don't really care.
