Being called a Paki when infact I'm of Indian origin...how bloody hilarious lol....talk about being ignorant....also been picked on because of my skin colour when i was a little girl, i.e not being White....i'm glad I'm not the one who's paying up to my eye-balls every month in changing my skin colour these days though.....lol, even more hilarious !!!!
I just ignored what-ever they had to say at the time.

I joined a volunteer organization, similar to the Peace Corps or VSO. I had a university degree, work experience, and a lot of good self-esteem. When I met with the man in charge of placing volunteers, he began by saying that when he first saw my application, he said, "Here's a girl with nothing to offer but her willingness to serve. We need to find a place for her." I was so stunned, I did absolutely nothing. I soon found out that he was a complete bleep and famous for it.

the nastiest thing anyone has ever said to me was my ex when i told him i had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and he responded by telling me to hurry up and die so he would be able to get custody of our children. in a way that gave me more strength to get better and prove him wrong and i have done. that was 9 years ago and me or the children haven't seen him since that day.

When we moved from Germany to America I was called a Nazi and had stones thrown at me. I didn't respond really, I didn't understand it at the time I was 10 and had never encountered racism or discrimination.

Then other black people come to me and said that I act white and not black. I will not listen to anymore thing people need to say to me when school starts from winter brack.

I was once called a "******* whore" and proceeded to break her nose and doted her eye! I think that is all it took to make her regret what she said!
It may not have been the right thing to do but I damn sure felt better!!!

At a house party some homophobic teenage pipsqueak told me and a group of my friends,"Don't be too Gay, now". I shot back,
"I RESEMBLE that remark".

Respond "thank you" with a smile. The person's goal is to insult you. If not trying to insult you can show them you didn't like their comment with a rebuttal that insults their comment or intelligence.

When I was in school, a girl told me that I was ugly. But I didn't react at all. I just ignored her.
