Your spouse says "My boss is in town, is it okay if he stays at our house for two days instead of staying at a hotel?" You say sure (because you're such a nice and hospitable person lol). The entire time the boss is there, your spouse orders and bosses you around in front of his boss. What do you do?

Do Not belittle him in front of his boss! He's probably nervous and subconsiously trying to show that people do what he asks them to.

Be very gracious, the perfect hostess, and anticipate what he'll need so he doesn;t have to ask in the first place. Then in PRIVATE, let him know what your doing and how you felt about the bossing around. Tell him yoiu have every intention of helping him impress his boss, but that you won't be belittled again in the future. If the behavior repeats itself, go visit some friends or family next time he has the boss over.

It is typical for men to act like this in front of their bosses. He does not mean to degrade you but he thinks that he is showing his boss that he is in control of his home and keeps it running smoothly and that he can do this with his job also. But I would let him have his day in the limelight in front of his boss and laugh behind his back because we all know who keeps the house and other things running in such perfect order. And don't forget to remind him of it the night after his boss leaves. WINK WINK!

When your boss leaves town, boss your spouse to a hotel

I would set him aside and tell him what is he doing is completely wrong and humiliating..
Tell him that he better stop or I would leave and go to a friends house..Or better yet get a hotel room by myself.
I would say it was your idea to have your boss stay over, so you can take care of him !
See ya !

Good luck with your situation (if it's true)
:)

I would first speak to him in private, no man wants to feel like a punk. But if after you tell him he continues to treat you in that way, then put him out there in front of his boss.

That behavior is unacceptable, and further more I really dislike two faced people.

I wouldn't agree to having a boss stay at the house - not ever!

Let hubby know, in private, that this is the LAST time the boss stays and he better stop the attitude NOW!

I would let him know, in front of his boss, that you will not accept that kind of disrespect no mater who is staying in your house and if he dares to say something rude to you smack the sh@t out of him to bring him back to reality. This is not the 1950's.
