I suppose it depends on the texture. If it falls in attractive, smooth curls, it's adorable. If it just frizzes, that's a real curse.

A friend of mine had long curly hair and she just washed it and shook her head, and when it was dry, picked at it a little. She looked like a model! It was gorgeous.

Another friend had the standard frizzies, and used to cry when she brushed it. She said she understood how the white queen in Through the Looking Glass could lose her brush in her hair! I think if that was mine, I'd cut it real short.

It's a curse... although everyone with straight hair will say it's a blessing. But I've had both straight and curly hair, and it's a curse.

Since I'm African American, I don't have natural curly hair. However, I permed my hair to get a curly look. It a blessing that I have the option to wear the curly look. After 4 weeks, loosing those curls, it can be a frustrating mess if I don't know what hairstyle is right for me.

When I was a kid, I hated it. Now that I am an adult, I like it.

When I was a kid, the women would coo over me and my hair. I hated the attention. But later when I grew up and liked women, I liked the attention.

People generally are not too happy with whatever they have been blessed with. True happiness comes in accepting what cards you have been dealt and playing them to the best of your ability without wishing you had different cards.

Curly can look very good on a female, as well as straight hair.

My dad used to tell me to eat my crust as it will make my hair curly. I wouldn't eat it because I didn't want curly hair.

It depends on the age group. When I was in elementary school and was the only person with curly red hair, I was teased mercilessly.
