I'm going to be buying a 45 automatic (maybe a revolver). What's the best way to carry one? I could put it in my purse, but I'd rather carry it on me in a discreet way. Any ideas?

I have a shoulder holster. It's worked for me so far. Mine's not a .45 tho. It's a little bigger. Don't put it in your purse. A gun in your purse is a dangerous useless thing.

you may set up a Blackhawk Serpa CQC with the CQC Belt Loop Plate and connect it on your left backpack strap merely above the place it meets your shoulder. This keeps the gun and accessory up off your shoulder together as hiking, yet makes the draw a count of attaining throughout the time of your chest to the ideas-blowing of your strap. i discover it to be the main comfortable thank you to hold a firearm close to hand with a backpack. you're able to be able to additionally use a "tactical" drop-leg rig, yet as you're able to be able to desire to appreciate, hiking with one in each of those rig is a actual soreness. it is my suitable suggestion for instantaneous get entry to that's otherwise out of your way. And the Serpa keeps with the set off look after change so your try against grip isn't compromised on the draw. playstation : i do in contrast to Serpa otherwise...yet it is the suitable setup i could desire to discover for precisely an analogous undertaking, in easy terms i do no longer concern plenty approximately bears as I do wild hogs.
