Reading literature from Alanon like "The Courage to Change", talking on the phone, reading my bible, praying alone, and eating alot of chocolate :-)

I read the answers on here 'cause I was interested to see what others came up with... to see if I could start doing some of the things they do... but no. I've tried most of those things and they don't work for me. There is no way for me to replace the negative thoughts with positives. I can only shut them down for some time while sleeping or getting wasted.

i replace my negative thoughts with positive affirmations, in place of i cant i say ican

I just look at my "DAUGHTER" SHE as WONDERFUL SMILE! And say where do want to go? Then were out of here!!! She just has a special way to make me forget that negativity!!! I think she can read my mind... *_^
