what type of shoes or footwear goes well with different type of mid length skirts?

I live in tropical country and in our religion, we are only allowed to wear skirts that are two inches below the knee.

Flats are really cute with skirts. Or sometimes flip-flops and different heeled sandals work. It depends on what the skirt looks like though . . . mostly. =)

In tropical countries you are limited in the styles, as boots will probably look too hot and wintery. The new ballet style flats and trimmer clogs might look good depending on the style of the skirt. If it is a business-wear skirt, choose a closed, low- heel shoe or pump, but if it is casual and cool material try the flats.
