I'm supposed to do a book report on a book dealing with government for my AP Gov class. Government bores me, so I was hoping some of you could give me some literary works that deal with government in a humorous or satirical manner.

I've tried "Parliament of Whores" but they didn't have it at my local library or book store. Many of my classmates are doing books by Colbert, but I don't want to follow the crowd.

Thanks.

You could read "Snow" by Orhan Pamuk. It is about a political coup which takes place in a small town in Turkey.
