Keith Olbermann on MSNBC has been covering it on a nearly daily basis...he gets branded the "Evil Liberal media" for telling the truth.
As for the others? They are busy giving Americans what we want: Gossip about Britney, Lindsay and such.
I read a great quote; "Thousands of innocent Iraqis dead. America yawns and turns the channel to American Idol."
"Nuff said.
Here is the actual body count...about 200,000 shy of your numbers...but still horrid and shameful.:

The last numbers I heard were 700,000. But even that is outrageous. The media aren't showing us the US body bags, the facially disfigured soldiers, the babies and children now without arms, legs . . . media is guilty of sanitizing the war, and this may be related to the suppression of certain stories by the government as not fit for broadcast as it may hinder "national security" . . . . right. The Iraq travesty is not the only thing the media have failed on. The only candidates they cover are those that have a D or an R next to their names. There are 26 other parties and presidential candidates, I have failed to see ANY coverage of those political interests.

Provide a source. Show the numbers by how they were killed. Not everyone killed in Iraq is killed by the USA. Until you prove your allegations that is all it is.

Where did you get these numbers?
What do you want the media to do: Report facts or offer baseless opinions?
Why do you use the pejorative word "Holocaust"?
You accuse the media of being "...shills", do you have any proof?

Where's your data? Anecdotal evidence is not enough. I'm not disagreeing or agreeing with what your saying but you need to back it up.
