I just LOVE The Railway Children (1970) especially the end bit where Bobby sees her father as the steam subsides after the train pulls out of the station and she yells, "Daddy, My Daddy". Just Magical.

Life of Brian is on tonite, as is Dr Strangelove, both big faves of mine.
"I am a Jew mother, a Sheeny. a Hooknose, a Yid, a Dead Sea Pedestrian!"
"No Brian, your father was a Roman called Naughtius Maximus, promised me the known world he did, had his way with me and buggered off sharpish when he knew I was with child, bleedin' Romans!"

It's A Wonderful Life.
"Teacher says every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings."
Can't get much cuter than ZuZu Bailey.
