What does it mean when someone say "You'd easily be accepted into a cult"?

My friend just randomly told me I would, I'm 13, and she's 17. What is that supposed to mean? Seriously? I kind of know what a cult is already, but what does it mean when someone says that?

I'd say that it means that you are gullible and accept what others tell you without checking the facts.

You are too young to go and join a cult please. She means you could be easily influenced, these are the types of people cult leaders look for, and you have to stick to the lessons you were taught while growing up you are not done growing and learning, you will hear many different opinions on just about everything, to become a well adjusted human being you must choose your own path, this may seem strange at this moment because your parents are responsible for you and your safety and behavior, this is why there are boundaries you must follow, because as an adult there are even more boundaries and rules set up by society, your parent's job is to prepare you to become all that you can under their guidance but its a two way street...you are old enough to understand the meaning of consequences to your choices...there are good consequences and bad consequences.

At 17 your friend may not understand you as well as you do yourself so only you know if you would be able to recognize someone trying to intice you into a cult...speak to your parents about it, they will be happy to try and find out more about it and help you if you feel this is true...Always be true to yourself, never let anyone influence your thinking or what to believe or not spiritually, don't join anything that sounds fanatical to you...this covers many religions don't it...Good luck honey remember your parents are your friends and are there with any question you may have also.

It means you have no moral backbone,-- that you are easily manipulated and are a follower. You probably are weak minded and have no opinions of your own. Sort of like sheep or jelly fish that go with the currents or where they are led without question. She is probably trying to tell you to get a backbone or grow a pair of balls. Like most 13 year olds you ape what you see on television or you sit in front of the computer/x-box all day.

Go out and kick someones *** for a purpose, a belief you hold dear and close to your heart. It can be right or wong, but it is a statement. Maybe she wants you to lead her, be in charge or something. Most women like men that will lead, make deciesions and so forth.

Of course you are only 13 and have a few years to grow into man hood if you start now.
