A friend of mine got a BS in chemistry and was immediately hired by HP to troubleshoot complex computer networks. He now flies all over the world as a senior HP person.

You don't have to do chemistry after majoring in it.

Don't do chemistry its a waste of time, you should go into chemical engineering. It employs a lot of the same concepts as chemistry. You will do a lot of chemistry in your job and get paid 20,000 more per year, i love chemistry so thats what i did
