It's an 80gb Classic, 6th Generation and i keep setting a lock on the volume limit under settings, but despite my efforts, the iPod keeps bringing my volume back to almost none. Is there anyway to change this?

I tried resetting my iPod, even taking all the music off and putting it back on- but it's still not working. What do i do?

Ah! That's iPod deafness setting in. All you iPodders will be profoundly deaf by the time you're 40. The only thing you should stick in your ears are your thumbs! :>)

Personally i wouldnt even bother waiting for an answer. Sounds like a fault with your ipod, you can take it back to an apple store or the place where you bought it with your receipt or even without it and they will happily replace it for a new one. Remember you have 1 year apple warranty. Apple after sales is really good.

There is no reason why they wouldnt, you have done everything i would of done. Checked all the settings the lock isnt working. So just send it back and get a replacement.
