he is muslim....although he has tried to explain it away, it is a part of who he is. I think he would have done better to just embrace who he is. He recently converted to the United Christian Church in Chicago that also among other things is pretty racist.

I would NOT vote for Obama because: 1) Obama is completely unqualified & far too inexperienced to be President. Prior to is brief career as Senator ( during which he MISSED 70 % of the Senate Votes & achieved NOTHING for the State of Illinois ) his ONLY US Government Quasi-Political experience was as a Civil Attorney investigating alleged Civil Rights violations.-----2) Obama has attempted to distance himself from his Muslim Background by maintaining that he is now a member of the BLACK SEPARATIST Church ( Trinity United Church of Christ ) - ANYONE who claims that a man with this background could be a President for ALL People is either the Biggest Fool or Liar on the Planet-------3) Obama has PROVEN himself to be COMPLETELY UNPATRIOTIC & DISRESPECTFUL toward the US & the US Flag by virtue of his refusal to Pledge Allegiance to the US & wear a US Flag Pin ---Perhaps Obama WOULD BE WILLING to Pledge his Allegiance to Iraq & make a good Iraqi President ?

As lengthy as Obama is evidently now not in desire of muslim terrorists, then Jews don't have any obstacle with him, why could they?? To the Morons who responded on the best, such a lot Jews do not reside in Israel and aren't Israelis. As for the individual who stated Jews vote by way of celebration, that's virtually as retarded. My loved ones votes for the pleasant candidate and they're a large mixture of liberals and conservatives and no person is Israeli... we're all blondes & redheads too...

I am, I think he's what America needs, new blood and fresh ideas. I for one am tired of having either a Bush or a Clinton for president; not that I didn't like Bill Clinton, I thought he was a great POTUS, it's just I can't stand Hillary!
Plus I absolutely love the utter ignorance that people have concerning his beliefs. For the record: He's not a Muslim, he didn't swear on a Koran, there's no record of him refusing to say the Pledge, and for some to somehow try to nail some sort of a lack of patriotism on his part to him not wearling a flag pin, well that's just plain dumb lol.

I'm not voting for Barack Obama nor am I voting for this other candidate named "Barack Hussein Obama" that I've never heard of.
I think he has good intentions and seems like a decent person, but I don't know if he has the strength to be president or if he really knows what he's getting himself into. On the Democrat side I'd rather go with Hillary who has been around politics for a very long time and is a real tough cookie.
I'm surprised you didn't write Osama instead of Obama though. Let's really be xenophobic and racist that way. Nothing is more American than trying to scare people into not voting for someone based on their race or religion. Not quite.

I will be voting for Obama. Who's better? Giuliani and his corruption and continuation of the war? Huckabee and Romney, both religious nuts looking to shove their belief systems down the throats of the American people? Ron Paul and his one track idealistic mind that would set our country back 100 years by creating 50 little countries? Hillary Clinton and all her baggage and corruption? No thanks

It would be interesting to see Obama as president. Some people seem to be against him because of his age and lack of experience. That might actually be a benefit for the country since it could lead to a power shift in the branches of government. Remember, Congress is Article One of the Constitution, the Executive Branch is Article Two.
***BTW, it was Keith Ellison who took the oath of office using the Koran. Lets keep it honest, folks

First of all, that name was given to him by his parents. He has nothing to do with it. You can't help what you are called.
He isn't Muslim. Did you know his father left the family when Barack was only 2? And that his father was also an atheist by the time he met Barack's mother?
Every question you post on here is bashing Barack. It's hard to take you seriously. Especially when your Avatar makes you look like a slutty Catholic schoolgirl.

No because he is too pro illegal for me. Voted for the Amnesty Bill and the Dream Act. He says he is for helping middle and low income families so how can legalizing all the illegal help them? It wont it will only make it worse. I have issues with some of his other views also.
