I'm on YAZ placebo's right now. I always get my period on the last placebo pill. Well, I didn't get it today and the problem is is that I am supposed to start ortho tri cyclen tomorrow(the sunday after my period). So should I start ortho tri cyclen tomorrow or stay on YAZ until next month?

If you've been taking your bc as prescribed then go ahead and start the new ones. Periods are funny, sometimes they're just absent or delayed for no reason we know of.

Don't you those last minute periods?

For some girls and women taking Yaz, when it comes time to have your monthly "period" some get it, some don't, and some get it on and off throughout the duration of their taking Yaz. There is a good chance that you might not get your period this month.

Since I assume you just took the 4th and last placebo pill today, you can wait until you get your period if that'll make you feel better or you can go ahead and start your next packet of birth control - Ortho TriCyclen - tomorrow.

You take ortho tri cyclen as directed. There could be many reasons why you didn't get it today, so just wait until you get it. If it happens on Monday then you can take 2 of the ortho pills. That is what my doctor asked me to do. But on Tuesday if it starts, just wait until next Sunday to start.

I am on Yaz and my periods completely stopped. When I was on the shot I bled for 6 monthes straight(wouldn't recommend it). There is a chance you won't have your period next month either if you are on Yaz but if you go on the shot when you are not on your period you may bleed constantly like I did (and a couple of my friends).

Go ahead and start the ortho tomorrow. You won't hurt anything.

Keep taking the pills like you usually do, one pill each day at the same time each day.

If you've had sex, you could be pregnant.

Or it just could be that you did not get your period yet.
