I need replacement bolts for my alternator. The long bottom bolt and the top bolt that holds the tensioner. I need to know the size of these bolts.

Don't you have the old ones? Just check the size.

If you lost the old bolts and need new ones, it really doesn't matter. Whatever bolts will fit in the holes and hold the thing in will work.

Go and get them from a dealer parts department. If you guess you'll end up with stripped threads and have to spend big bucks to get them re-tapped. Not to mention the tow bill!
