because he would want more black people in the government and since he is all for immigrants it might change life as we would know it, of course this is only hypothetical, because he will never be elected...

Invariably, blacks priority is to empower blacks.
I'm not sure whites would become a minority but eventually advantages would be awarded to blacks.
History has proved this in all former colonial african countries.South Africa being the latest and a classic example of the folly of black leadership.
Sorry to those who are hurt by the truth.

I do not think so. A minority is really defined by what percentage of the population is, well, whatever they are. I don't think that because Obama is black that he is going to want more black people in government. If I were President, I would look at who is best to get the job done. I wouldn't say "Hey, George W. Bush, even though you're less popular than Condileeza Rice, I want you to work for me and help advise me in foreign relations because you're white."
That wouldn't be the case.
I do think that you have a point with the immigration thing, but I don't believe that the American public will accept an immigration policy that will hurt US. I think the immigration process should be EASIER, but I think that it shouldn't advocate illegal actions (like illegally coming into America and NOT PAYING TAXES. You don't have to be a citizen, just pay up.) The subject is too controversial, and something like that isn't likely to go through Congress just because Bush isn't president anymore.
I won't vote for Obama, personally, because of his advocation of things I don't morally believe in (abortion and gay rights), but I think a Democrat would be good in the Presidential office in terms of foreign relations and policy.
I have the morals of a Republican, and the foreign relations veiws of a Democrat.
Anyway.

No, whites won't be a minority for at least another 25 - 50 years (and then only an ethnic, not racial minority). You can't change numbers. And since there are a lot of whites in the Democrats, whites would not be a political minority either. And even with the Republicans out of power, they would still make up nearly half of the population.

No, why would he being elected make white people the minority?
Doesn't minority mean that there are less of one thing then the other?
If so then how would white people be less once he gets elected?

No way! How could a President change the demographics of the US? Are you just an ignorant paranoid racist? There is no such thing as a 'PURE' race on Earth! We ALL came from Africa as early man began to roam the planet. Unless you came from another planet, you're part black! Get used to it! If you can't deal with the truth, shut up!

Although I think he is interested in the encouragement of minorities as most democratic candidates are, I don't think he would do that at the expense of the white people. He doesn't seem to be racist at all. By the way, his mother is white.
