In the 10 most used categories when ranking goaltenders, Jacques Plant is the only goalie in the top 10 in ALL of them. In those 10 categories, Jacques Plante beats Patrick Roy in 9 of them!

roy,brodeur,hasek get real.Go back to the time where goalie equipment was half its size.

The answer is Ken Dryden...most of you homies weren't even born yet or old enough to watch him play.He won more cups in 7 seasons than roy won his entire career.

His regular season totals include a .790 winning percentage, a 2.24 goals against average, and, most incredibly, losing only 57 games while recording 46 shutouts in 397 total games. Although he only played 7 full seasons,no other modern goaltender has ever been even remotely close to earning nearly as many shutouts as recording losing games. He won the Vezina Trophy five times for allowing the fewest goals and in the same years was selected as a First Team All-Star.

No one here even named Terry Sawchuck, I mean honestly you have give the guy credit, he played with no mask and I am pretty sure he is either first or second in shutouts.

also hasek and brodeur arent bad! belfours old but he can goaltend well
