but i got a new phone today and asked to keep the number of the sim in my other phone, do you think they will block the sim or is it ok to keep using it, i have e-mailed my service provider but am waiting to hear back.

I would call the phone company and let them know otherwise they will turnoff the phone.

Once your phone number is transferred to the new SIM card the other one will be inactive...however, all the information that you saved on the SIM card, phone numbers, pictures, messages, will still be viewed on the phone. There's no way to disable that. The phone just won't work to make calls. You should call your provider instead of E-mailing them you may have a huge bill if someone found it and started to us the phone like crazy.

you should call the service provider to inform them that you found your sim,and disregard the previous request. there is a possibility that they will block the sim in their system w/c will make the sim useless for you to use.

they dont block the sim they block the phone with the imei number, it will probably be ok

then just wait for the reply from them... and don't use that phone until you do hear from them

if ur on a contract they block the simcard so it can't be used
