When I was a little kid, probably about 8 or so. I had a Mickey Mouse kite, and I really loved it. Then it got destroyed by a tree, and I was heartbroken. I should get one and fly it with my 5 year old. She would really like that.

My brothers and I used to fly kites many years ago when we were little....I seem to remember we used to have them in Maine to fly in the summer....we may have flown them here, too....I am not sure about that, though. To answer your question, I am not sure when the last time I flew a kite was....but I would guess it was between 15 and 20 years ago.

last spring, I took a little boy to the University I go to, for a kite flying thing that benefited the some charity. We stayed for 3 hours.

Many years ago when the boys were small. It was great fun though. You know another thing the boys loved, rockets. They aren't terribly expensive, and if you have the land, you can have a lot of fun with them. They are available with different size engines and the larger ones really fly high. It is quite fun! Some come with parachutes so your craft doesn't get damaged on impact.

Only last March - when the wind is good - with my Grandson, I am still not sure quite which one of us enjoyed it most.
I noticed whilst touring in China last year, they fly some wonderful Kites out there in the parks, hundreds of them, and its awesome, its a much forgotten simple pleasure!

I give them as gifts, though.
I love to fly a kite.
I always had problems getting them up into the air.
I like to tell people to go fly a kite.
