Death is the basis upon which the question of the meaning of life is made intelligible.
In other words: The only reason why humans have a sense that life should have an ultimate 'meaning' is because they, at some point, recognized that we are finite beings. We will one day expire--- and breathe no more.
As such: I think about death probably 3 out of the 7 days of the week. To do so any more would probably start to make me think of death as an option, rather than a concept =P

My views of death have changed quite a bit in the last month.
It used to be the fearful, dreaded, dont want to think about it type of feelings.
Now, I question it. I believe that only our bodies get laid to the side. That our Spirit's our eternal.
I'm even beginning to believe in reincarnation.
Life is what's scarey, with all the ego's fears and judgements.
Striving to move past those are where the REAL challenges lie.
(((sigh)) It's saturday Doc, now you got me going.
Which book will I read today?
Lucky I like you. lol

That's an interesting question considering that almost everything around you is something that could kill you, when you think about it. I honestly don't think about death too often, because it would most likely lead me to be a very cautious person who wouldn't be able to enjoy life as much.

I think it is the Persians, who have a saying, " When you think about this world always think that you will be here forever. But when you think about the Hereafter always think that you will die tomorrow"
I plan to go on a holiday tomorrow, I don't think I am going to die.
But time to pray, yes I wonder if may be alive tomorrow.
So yes its good to think about death.
Was it Twain who said "The only thing certain about life is death"

I would say the thought occurs 80% of the time that I leave my room. I'm not suicidal or goth or depressed, but I like to keep in mind that anything can happen for my own good and alertness.
