Yes , those who benefit the most from society have a great responsibility to pay their fair share .

Its the common man who pays the taxes to build the roads .
Its the common man that makes the community expand and grow .
Its the common man that makes it possible for some to profit greatly from his efforts .

As such those people must return to the community what they have taken from it .

If they wish to continue to profit then they must defend the community repair the roads and provide for the people that which alone they can not do for themselves .

Money power and leaders are responsible to insure that all people are cared for in the nation .

This does not mean controlled but given the freedom and opportunity to have something at the end of the day instead of just more debt .

Its sad that people feel a man is worth 100 million dollar pay check for a years labor .

What could a single man possibly do that warrants such monetary compensation .

A cure for cancer maybe . Picking the right investments or running a company does not warrant such pay . Yes they deserve more but not that much .

SO I would have to say to correct the problem have a 1,000,000 tax free inheritance policy and after that 90% .
You can give your family the money while you are living .
No trusts or loop holes . No more trust fund babies with lawyers controlling the assets making six and 7 figure incomes for managing others lives .

Its sicking to think a cat can be left millions of dollars .

I like animals and some of my favorites are ,cows ,chickens , pigs ,ducks , lamb , deer , alligator , and shellfish and grouper , snapper , flounder and other such things that expand my waste line .

Can I leave some money to my pet roach or would most people think I was nuts .

My pet roach should be provided ample food water and space to breed and his offspring should be well taken care of .

I love how the insanity of mankind has become the sanity of most people who's minds have been conditioned and warped to accept such things .

Most of "the few" you are talking about are already dead for some time now and those who still live, well, I guess it would be unfair in some way to let them pay for it because those "few" are hard to define and they are also all individuals who have their own story, so it's hard to put this kind of questions in yes and no.

I think the good thing would be to look at the future and make good things happen! What happened in the past, is over, try to prevent those things from happening again but don't revenge those who didn't.

Absolutely! You can't say 'I'd like a massive loan please to build a mansion' and then say 'well those people down the street can pay it back, they've benefitted from my lovely big house bringing the tone of the area up'.

Wouldn't Halliburton be in violation of the Sherman Anti-trust act if they are awarded no-bid contracts?

I think the war profiteers should be hung for Treason.

War profiteering is illegal, isn't it?

I certainly would love to see Halliburton be held accountable for charging outrageous prices to our Defense Department for delivering SPOILED AND ROTTEN food to our soldiers.

TO FRANK: No, my lad. "Social programs" are most certainly NOT the "largest percentage of the budget" --
the bloated DEFENSE department is and I sure am sick of uninformed sheeple bleating the same misinformation over and over no matter HOW many times one smears FACTS in their faces.

Did Rumsfeld ever find that missing TWO TRILLION DOLLARS that he said the Defense Department "could not account for?"

But god help us all if we give some food stamps to a single mother with three kids.

GOD HELP US!!!!
