well when you are a little older, it will make a little more sense to you. i'm starting to fill out my college applications and apply for scholarships... and believe me, when you get to this point, you will really realize that most of those things that seemed so pointless throughout your education in English class, are going to shine through... and you'll just smile, because i used to think the same thing, and nobody could have convinced me that i would be glad and thankful i learned what i had to... but now i am, and i'm admitting that to myself...

Ahem. This is probably the worst question I have seen all day.
I love to write. I love poetry and singing and all that junk, but who cares, right?
I'll tell you who cares.
If you can't use good and proper English, then you might as well say goodbye to a university.
Point, I KNOW English class is boring sometimes, but there are people out there who look for you to be good at this.
It's going to really, and I mean R-E-A-L-L-Y, be hard to get a job when your English is bad.
There are just some things that people use to determine who you are, and yes I mean by just looking at you, not sitting down and going on a date so they know all your good and bad facets.
Hmm? Appearance is one, personality for sure, your general reaction, dress, etc.
Oh, and don't foget good speech and proper grammar, all of which come from the common root of your very own English class.
I do believe that I've made my point here.
Goodbye and good luck my dear, I do think you're going to need it.

P.S.- Did I forget to mention that adjectives, verbs, and all that other "good stuff" are basic parts of sentences? If you want well written sentences, you need to know those things.

Please pay attention my love, for the sake of good and fine literature and verse.

Forever yours,
RockiT_SkitseFrazzle

You have to know to use words and sentences properly.
You can use words and write sentences very well without knowing if the word is a noun or a verb or an adjective.
But for that English will have to be your mother tongue or at least the language of the country you are born in.
For non native speakers of any language not knowing the basics of grammar can make the learning process quite difficult.

To better express yourself.
The more adjectives and verbs you know, the more different sentences you can come up with.

If you don't learn it then you won't know what smart people mean when they write.
