Traditionally, Christmas decorations stay up for the 12 days of Christmas. That is until the 6th of January. This is the day that the three wise men were said to have arrived to pay homage and give their gifts. So now, it is traditional to take down the tree on the 6th of January

i've taken mine down already - i dont think it will give you bad luck. it gets on my nerves after boxing day - christmas is over then. and christmas isnt about having a tree up - the real reason for christmas gets lost in all the hype!!

I am thinking about doing it today actually. I have two toddlers, that will not leave it alone. The tree is in our family/play room, and with Toys R Us exploding there, I need all the space I can get.

I usually take it down on Boxing day as it begins to annoy me. However, I have had to keep it up this year as my nephews and niece are coming over tomorrow! It will be down by the end of the day tomorrow!
