I have crossed paths with 2 players (now former players) and both were great guys enjoying the benefits of their celebrity. Neither watch the NFL now, it is too painful.

I went to college with Kirk Morrison from the Raiders, Kassim Osgood on the Chargers, and Freddy Kialho from the Colts... I still keep in contact with them through emails and such, but they're all hella busy and spread out around the country now. All of them are cool as hell... Freddy is the funniest dude..

I don't know any NFL players, but I work for a professional team in another sport and there's a couple of the guys I get a long with really well. It's kind of strange at first to be just talking stuff with a guy you were rooting for on television, but you get over it quickly. There just guys who happen to be very good at a sport.

I actually know Hunter Hellinjmeijer on the Bears. My dad and

him are half brothers. We invite him over for lunch at least 2

times a month. He is a really nice guy! Every time he comes

over I don't like ask him for his autograph and freak out! I'm

used to him and I treat him like any other person. He's like

family.

Did you really expect an honest answer? Everyone is going to say they knew a guy who was a neighbor of a 2nd cousin of the half brother of........... blah blah blah.... I would award the best answer to whomever could actually prove it somehow.

You aren't going to believe this, but Jeremy Shockey from the giants is my 3rd cousin. I see him like twice a year. We aren't really that close, or anything like my immediate family, but I still think it's cool.
