Am I the only one who can't text?

Question

When I press the numbers to get a letter the number shows and there's no shift key (ex: I want H but 4 shows up) This is a conspiracy I tell you! Screw it I'm sticking with email!

I'm 38! LOL! My kids can text faster than I can speak. God am I REALLY old?!!

I can text, but a simple sentence that takes my niece about 5 seconds to send takes me a good five minutes or so. I'm with you! I will just stick with my email!

I HATE texting. Even the simplest little things take me five minutes at least. Everyone else I know can do it, but I sure can't. I had your problem to for the longest time. Someone took my phone away from me and in a couple seconds took care of it. Probably something really minor and simple but dammed if I could figure it out.

What I really hate is when trying to reply to a message, the sender sends me another text asking if I'm there. GRRRRR

Heck, when I text it takes me 10 minutes to write something simple like Hello or OK. I am so bad at it....I could bet you one thing you can probably do better than your kids though...challenge them to a type off...see how many words they spell correctly when typing on the keyboard of the computer...none of that texting short hand lingo like LOL or BFF. That doesn't count...just a good old fashion "words per minute" typing test. Remember those from school? Now a days they don't do that, kids can talk to the computers now.

I never read one single word of the 'how-to' manual and I text like a champ, baby!

Just because I caused 3 fatal car accidents, killed a chicken (why was he crossing the road, anyway?), and injured an old lady, doesn't mean I am not a good 'texter' ... or does it ...?

Usually there is a button you can push that changes it from letters to numbers, lower case to capital. Try the star key, it might help.

I feel like all thumbs when I try to text. I can't seem to catch on like some I know that could text quickly with on hand no less.

hmm well you may have your phone on a wierd auto text (mine was like that)

you should get a phone with a keyboard! that would be fun

but really im 16 and i text so slow, but i rarely even do it though it costs to much and im slow at it

Sounds like your holding down the number.
And for most people shift is star.

I am 52 and can do it but am not good at it. I'd rather email or call someone on the phone.

no, i don't know how old u are but no offense if u are old but i find that it's mostly the old people who don't know how to text
