Who personally knows a NBA player?I want to know how does it feel to have a friend that you see consistanly on TV or hear about on the news?And personally i mean do you know a NBA player that you talk to once in a while or eryday you know maybe threw e-mail or phone or whatever not someone you just met once im talking bout regular basis how does it feel and if so who?Thank you

Marivin Williams, we both played on the same high school team, he was 8 inches taller and weighed 25 more pounds, but I hustled so hard, the pickup games we played were always close, which earned his respect. We throw each other E-mails every now and again, and he invited me to a Hawks game with awesome seats, that was nice. Knowing an NBA player definitley has it's perks.

A player on my high school team played in the NBA for 4 years (this was in the 80s). I used to beat him one-on-one. I'm not saying I'm better than him, he just had a block when it came to playing me.
I didn't talk to him every day. If he had a cool dunk on the highlights, I would call him and we would talk.
When he came home, we would play some pick-up games. I couldn't beat him anymore. Training on the NBA level is way more advanced than anything I received.

I had a 5 minute conversation with Andrea Bargnani before the game started at the ACC (air canada centre). It was so cool. But that's the closest I know someone to.

I know Ronnie Brewer from the Utah Jazz. His dad, Ron Brewer, a former NBA player, used to coach my basketball team and Ronnie would come. So i just started talking to him. He is really good, he was amazing, here, at Arkansas.

i met dwayne wade once when i went to the heat games hes actually a cool guy hes not really a show off and he gave my a tip for my game

I met Kobe Bryant last summer when I went to his summer camp. While I was there, I talked to him a lot and got pretty close to me. About 3 months ago, he invited me to a Lakers game, it was courtside seats. That was pretty cool.

i know rajon rondo from the boston celtics we dont talk now during the season but durning the off season we talk. we met when he played college hoops at kentucky.
