Years ago I had to work in the lingerie dept. at Macys two hrs a day. I loved to work in that dept., it was a crack up. Men came in all the time not knowing what size to buy. Gay guys made me laugh so hard I'd cry. They wanted to make me manager of that dept. but I had other career plans.

Yes I did. I loved working lingerie too! I helped the guys buy gifts for their wives for Christmas. I remember when one lady came up to me asking for chafees. I didn't know what they were but I was told later by my supervisor that it was used to keep thighs from rubbing.

I had a friend who opened up a bridal boutique... we carried everything! What a hoot... now is when you want to cry at the size 16 trying to fit into a size 6 and then act like it's our fault they couldn't fit into the dress! Why can't it be altered to fit them? Well good lord the seams do not give you an extra 8 inches of material to work with! And yes, we had the flaming wig buyers too, they were wonderful guys and so much fun! In Fact... they were what made that job worth while for me... I was just helping a friend open her business.... what a hoot!!!

No. I only worked in a dept. store once when I was sixteen. They put me in the pets and hardware dept. I lasted four days. I didn't know one nut or bolt from another and there were all of these aquariums I had to clean. I never liked rodents. The pet dept. had plenty of them. They had a lot of trouble keeping someone in that dept. They wouldn't put me in another so I quit.

Yes....."mens night" before Christmas was a hoot.
Most don't have a clue but I give those who tread into no-mans zone an A for effort. LOL
Secondly....if they actually had to wear what they picked out.....the world would change.
