I need something as strong as dritz braid elastic to make my watch band. I am allergic and can't wear a watch without making a band. I have been using black but would like to find some colors. i can't get out to look on my own due to illness. Any suggestions would be great. I NEED 1/2", HAPPY TO BUY BY THE YARD. FOUND SOME PALE Olive greenELASTIC IN SEWING ROOM BUT NO IDEA WHERE OT CAME FROM. I LIKE PINK , GREEN, WINE, BLUE, AND WHATEVER. MY WATCH IS A LITTLE HEAVY SO I NEED A STRONG ELASTIC, BRA ELASTIC WON'T WORK.

you said that lingerie eleastic isn't strong enough. had you thought of maybe using several pieces of thinner elastic.

Goggle "1/2" elastic" and see what comes up. I had to buy a large quantity of Velcro and couldn't find it in local stores but I found it online and in a variety of colors.
