I ski Mahogany Ridge at 3:00pm....earlier if the conditions are bad. I start off with a cold refreshing beer...usually a Long Trail Ale or New Belgium Sunshine Wheat. (There really isn't anything quite like drinking Sunshine Wheat at the A-Basin Lodge...or Parking Lot...Two beers and you're buzzin!)
If the bar scene is dead...I head back to my hotel, pop a few Ibuprofins and pour a nice cup of coffee...then I spike it with sour mash whiskey and go find the hot tub.
Sometime around 7pm I go for food.
That's what I do on big ski trips...at my home hill, we hit the bar for two drinks and then I make the 20 minute drive home, turn on the TV and watch Family Guy on TBS until I fall asleep.

I'm an old wornout ski-bum so don't have "hard" days on the slopes, I take it pretty easy most days.
For some reason unknown to me I always get a craving for chicken parm. after skiing all day. Also chili and fries for lunch...something I wouldn't even think about eating anywhere other then at a ski lodge but strangely delicious slopeside

I like to go in for a hot chocolate if it is cold outside, but a warm soft chocolate chip cookie is the best (Beaver Creek). Also if you are warm, a chilled gatorade tastes great.
